Strategic Organization Development - Aligning People and Business Goals

In conducting a complete Organization Development program, Integrate OD takes all elements of the organization into account to assess needs, design interventions, and implement integrated solutions to achieve optimal synergy between teams and divisions, thereby enabling their highest performance. To accomplish this, we follow a 5-step consulting process.

  1. Discovery: In the first stages of working with a client, Integrate OD conducts a series of interviews with employees at all levels in the organization. Through these initial conversations, we develop an understanding of your company's business model, long-term and short-term goals, future vision, values, and organizational culture. We then customize an approach to enable each business unit to lift its performance to its full potential, in synergy with the organization as a whole, and in alignment with the context and strategy of your firm and its clients.

  2. Support: To truly enable clients to leverage and build on their Human Capital strengths while minimizing weaknesses and implications thereof, efforts must be sustainable. Therefore, Integrate OD includes a thorough investigation of the systems within the organization that direct relationships, behaviors, learning and actions, mainly:

    • Communication systems
    • Competency requirements
    • Performance appraisal systems
    • Reward systems

    We ensure that these systems are aligned with the desired outcomes of the consulting engagement, so as to support and reinforce them for lasting results.

  3. Design: Using the data collected and leveraging internal systems, we design an Organization Development plan tailored to the client's needs. Importantly, for each assignment, Integrate OD will rely upon conventional models and methods where useful, and complement with unique and innovative solutions to meet the specific needs of the client and business context.

  4. Execution: We then work with the client company to implement the plan, which may include interventions ranging from strategic workshops to technical training programs to coaching. Strategic partnerships with experts in various disciplines of human capital development enable Integrate OD to assign a team of selected professionals that perfectly meets program objectives.

  5. Evaluation: Upon completion of the program, and throughout if necessary, Integrate OD conducts relevant measurement of progress and results against originally stated objectives. Our final follow up includes a report of recorded qualitative and/or quantitative results, depending on the nature and scope of the project, and the company and industry consulted.
